A good friend and dedicated firefighter who made the ultimate sacrifice. Tom was taken from us in the line of duty on March 6th, 1985 while doing what he cared about most: protecting his community. Tom was a firefighter with Union Fire Company for 6 years. Tom graduated from Bensalem High School in 1980. He was described as an enthusiastic, dedicated firefighter. He was the kind of guy who always gave 110 percent. Gibson was honored twice for being the company's most active member. He also belonged to Bristol Fire Co. No. 6's dive team. He joined Union Fire Company in 1979 following in the footsteps of his brother, Lewis. Tommy spent most of his free time at the firehouse.
